In reply to hobraun's post on April 25, I went looking for the 'setup file' for the driver and all I was able to locate was the driver itself which is in 'C: The computer is connectet via Ethernet to a router which is working with Gigabit LAN, also with other computers in this network.
Could you suggest where one might find this setup file?
Of course there is no compatibility setting there to change. It is still working with mbit. Atjeros think the problem is the LAN card.
Did you make any changes on the computer prior to this issue? Did this solve your problem? In reply to John Rubdy's post on April 27, Tech support scams are an industry-wide issue where scammers attempt to trick you into paying for unnecessary technical support services. Other computers with Win 7 are woking at the same ethernet cable.
