The aircraft exterior graphics are what I would call industry standard. CFS3 does contain some pretty impressive features; it is definitely a step forward in PC flight simulations even with its flaws. I've always used a noCD with disk based games.

I can confidently state that the clouds are the most realistic I have ever seen in a PC flight sim. That is hard to explain exactly, it is not any one specific thing.
