Try some later Epson 64 bit drivers. If so you are using a WIA driver and a registry entry is being moodel. It may show the entry that has been marked read only.
I still use mine. When I go into Device Manager, the driver shows as Epson Perfectionand it says it's working properly. I don't see any way to make it oerfection.
